Training Overview
My aim is to boost your driving confidence and turn you into a long term safe driver. For that I will work on improving your driving skills, building your confidence and developing observational skills that will enable you to anticipate hazards in good time.
Being a member of the Driving Instructors Association and also Diamond Advanced Motorist Trainer. I keep up to date with new changes within the industry. I am commited to continuous professional development.
Diamond Taxi test, Diamond Advanced test and Diamond Elite test must be booked directly at Diamond Advanced Motoring Website.
Prior to your Training:
An eye sight test is required before we begin your training, you need to be able to read a number plate from a distance of 27.5 metres for vehicles with an old style number plate or 26.5 metres if is a new-style number plate.
Do not forget to bring glasses/contact lenses if you require them for driving.
In order for us to check your licence details online please bring your driving licence and national insurance number
About the Training
The Diamond Elite test is ideal if you are an ADI wishing to enhance your career or if you have a keen interest in driving, be a member of a car club or drive extensively for work.
With this test, you will demonstrate a professional level of driving including commentary driving to potential clients and CEOs, and will allow you to acquire the experience and the knowledge to take your driving to the next level.
It is a 90-minute test that covers a variety of roads and motorways, rural areas and possibly an emergency stop exercise.
You will have to do:
- at least 2 manoeuvres involving reversing
- demonstrate eco-safe driving
- give a commentary drive for about 15-20 minutes
